As promised, Suzuki India has launched their new scooter for the Indian market and its called the Swish. Originally showcased at the Auto Expo 2012, the Swish is a more stylish 125cc scooter positioned above the Access 125.
The ex-showroom price in Delhi is Rs 45,431. An official dealer in Mumbai quoted Rs 59,000 (approx) for the scooter OTR with accessories, which makes it roughly Rs 4,000 more than the Access 125. The Mumbai dealer also says that there will be a month long waiting period for the scoot.
The Swish 125 is a scooter for the urban youngster and also for the young modern couple of India. Power comes from a 4-stroke 125 cc single that puts out 6.4 KW at 7000 rpm and 9.8 NM of torque. The twist-and-go scooter features CVT and telescopic front forks, drum brakes front & back and revised aerodynamic styling. Under seat storage comprises of a 20 litre capacity while fuel tank capacity is 6 litres. The Access 125 will be sold alongside the Swish, with the latter pegged at a slight premium.
